Bereavement Drop-in Cafe

tea-cup-clip-art-13927Losing someone you love can turn your world upside down.  There is no right or wrong way to feel during the bereavement period. Everyone’s experience of grief is personal, but talking about it helps. To help people through grief we hold a Bereavement Drop-in Cafe at St Peter’s to which all are invited.

The Bereavement Drop-in Café is not about counselling. There is no problem to be resolved. The aims of the Bereavement Drop-in Café are to provide a safe space where you can:

meet and talk about the pain of grief and loss
find mutual support and encouragement
meet people who will listen and respect your story
discuss strategies for dealing with grief and loss.

The Bereavement Drop-in Café is held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 3.00-4.30pm at St Peter’s Church Centre, Church Street, Old Woking, GU22 9JF and is run by our Associate Minister, Rev Beverley Hunt.

There is no need to reply, just turn up, but if you have any questions please contact us.
